278821A3 New Holland Rasp Bar is heavy-duty extended wear rasp bar without spike, installed on rotor threshing assembly of New Holland CR series and Case IH AFX axial flow rotary combine harvesters. It supersedes older part numbers including 1968743C1,278821A1,278821A2 and 86996392. Manufactured from high abrasion-resistant cast iron, the serrated profile delivers stable rubbing and threshing performance, separating grain from straw efficiently for corn, soybean, wheat and small grains. Extended wear construction greatly improves service life under abrasive field and high residue working conditions. This rasp bar works together with spike rasp bar 278820A5 on the same rotor. Direct aftermarket replacement for OEM 278821A3. Replace worn rasp bars when the serrated teeth wear down, restore threshing efficiency, reduce grain loss and avoid unexpected breakdowns in harvest season.
