817-028C Great Plains Opener Frame Bushing is high-quality black nylon pivot bushing for Great Plains grain drill opener frame assembly. This bushing serves two main mounting positions: single opener arm pivot and press wheel arm pivot, with 2 pieces required per row. Constructed from wear-resistant black nylon material, it effectively absorbs side load, minimizes friction and eliminates excessive play at pivot joints. Worn bushings cause opener wobble, inconsistent seeding depth and uneven seed placement. Replacing with 817-028C restores precise movement of the double disc opener assembly, protects frame and pivot shaft, improves planting uniformity for wheat, oats and other small grains.
